To increase sales productivity and performance, more and more companies are deploying both Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales. For some time now, an optimized integration between the two products provides a more reliable synchronization and an improved sales order integration.
The integration of both solutions makes synchronized information for sales people that is available in both services (e.g. customers, contacts and sales information) possible. This allows to access data in Business Central while working in Dynamics 365 Sales, and vice versa. With the synchronization the information in both applications can be kept up to date.
The integration can also provide sales people with insights into customer statistics and price lists, among other things, and provide an overview of whether sufficient stock is available in Business Central to fulfill an order. In addition, a reconciliation between sales quotations, orders and invoices can be activated, so the sales process in Dynamics 365 Sales can start with a quotation and the Business Central items and/or resources. The entire merchandise planning and invoicing process then runs in Business Central. The result, the invoice, the customer’s balance and the amount of all open items are directly visible to Dynamics 365 Sales users.
Through the integration optimization of Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Sales, sales employees now have the option to solve synchronization conflicts in sales-related role centers themselves and open linked sales data records from Business Central in a new unified interface. In addition, order and sales quotation synchronization has also been optimized.
