Since 1934, Bencard Allergie GmbH has been known primarily for the research and development of medication regarding diagnosis and causal immunotherapy of allergies (so-called hyposensitizations). For this purpose, the company offers allergen-specific immunotherapies and products that are freely available in pharmacies (e.g. probiotics and supplementary balanced diets), which are targeted at the individual needs of allergy sufferers. In doing so, Bencard Allergie GmbH succeeds in setting itself apart from its competitors by focusing in particular on constant innovation – for example, through its unique product immunoBON®.
In a constantly growing sector like the allergy market, meaningful numbers and reports are a decisive competitive factor in addition to innovative developments. Bencard Allergie GmbH previously used the classic business intelligence solution QlikView to view its company data as much detailed as possible. The focus of the analyses was also on the progressive development of those special business areas that differentiate the company from its competitors. The corresponding QlikView analyses were prepared internally by Bencard.
New partner for new requirements
Due to new requirements, Bencard Allergie GmbH finally contacted prisma informatik GmbH last year, which had already supported the allergy company with smaller requests in previous years. The new requirements were no longer to be built in QlikView, but in the modern analysis environment of Qlik Sense, in order to place the product in the company at the same time.
With the help of prisma informatik GmbHs expert support, the company is therefore now taking the step into the next BI generation and moving its existing QlikView applications to the successor product Qlik Sense as part of the Qlik Analytics Modernization Program.
In addition, two new applications for the areas of sales and finance have been built in Qlik Sense. So prisma informatik GmbH from Nuremberg supports Bencard Allergie GmbH in particular in the further development of its evaluations in order to further optimize the comprehensive overview of all relevant company data and to be able to make efficient strategic decisions on this basis. Moreover, a comprehensive authorization concept was developed and introduced together with prisma informatik GmbH.
Mastering the digital transformation in a secure and modern way
In the future, Bencard Allergie GmbH will benefit from secure, centrally used evaluations for the two requested areas as well as from prepared reports. It is taking the step from manual to automated preparation, which further optimizes the processes. The modern analysis environment of Qlik Sense is used for this purpose. This means that Bencard Allergie GmbH will be optimally equipped in the future to meet the constant challenges of digitalization with state-of-the-art software.
