BI provider Qlik announced the release of its new SaaS offering Qlik Sense Business. The product is designed to help groups and teams collaborate on data analysis.
Qlik Sense Business runs on the cloud-native, Kubernetes-based SaaS platform Qlik Cloud Services (as well as Qlik Sense Enterprise). It is a new range and not, as the name may suggest, an extension or modification of Qlik Sense Cloud Business.
Full Qlik Sense functionality
Qlik Sense Business users benefit from the same user interface, cloud hub, management console, performance, speed and availability as the cloud version of Qlik Sense Enterprise.
Qlik Sense Business also offers the full analytics capabilities of Qlik Sense, all of Qlik’s new Augmented Intelligence capabilities, drag-and-drop app creation, fully interactive apps, a personal area for creating and sharing your own content, five areas for team members and groups to develop and share apps, direct data connectivity to over 40 data sources and automated data updates.
Release and upgrade options
The exact release date for Qlik Sense is still pending, but users can already register for the test version that will be launched soon. For Qlik Sense Cloud Business users there will also be special offers after release, if they migrate to Qlik Sense Business. If additional governance, API integrations and data capacity are required later, an upgrade from Qlik Sense Business to Qlik Sense Enterprise will be possible at any time.
