Dynamics 365 Business Central: Autumn version with new features released

Microsoft has released the second wave of its Dynamics 365 products for this year. As part of this, Dynamics 365 Business Central has also been equipped with new features, enhancements and optimizations.

In addition to several basic application enhancements such as optimized performance, security and service quality, and enhanced support capabilities, the new version also includes reworked development tools. The old C/SIDE development environment with C/AL development language has now been completely replaced by Visual Studio Code. For this reason, the basic solution is also provided as an AL app.

More productivity in the Modern Client

Furthermore the new version offers numerous new productivity features in the Modern Client, which will completely replace the outdated Windows Client in the future. For example, in addition to some general adjustments for more user-friendliness, Business Central now includes the possibility to add notes and links to data, as well as a navigation menu, shortcuts for actions and the option to resize and save column sizes in list views with just a few clicks.

The new version also contains optimized filter options, simplified access to a function overview, improved Excel integration and increased speed and agility in data entry.
